God

God is good. He is for us, not against us (Acts 10:38, Romans 8:31-39). God’s will is that believers prosper and be in good health (3 John 1:2). God heals through believers laying hands on the sick in prayer (Mark 16:17-18). God does not use tragedy, illness or acts of nature to teach us (Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:9-17, Mark 4:14-20, John 10:10, Acts 10:38). God answers prayer and cares about every area of our lives (Matthew 7:7-11, Mark 11:22-24, I John 5:14-15). God’s Word to all men is the Bible. God is the creator and ruler of the universe. God exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God created mankind in His likeness and image.

Jesus

Jesus became sin so that we could become righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21). Jesus became a curse so that we could be blessed (Galatians 3:13-14). Jesus became wounded so that we could be healed (Isaiah 53:3-4). Jesus became poor so that we could be made rich (2 Corinthians 8:9). Jesus shed His own blood for our sins. His blood totally eradicated sin and its power (Hebrews 9:11-15, 24-28). Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and faith in Him is God’s only plan of Salvation. Jesus is our Substitute. Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. Jesus Christ is God and Man. Jesus Christ will return to the earth and we will reign together with Him. (Acts 1:9-11, 1 Corinthians 15:50-58, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18, Revelation 19:11-16, Revelation 22:12-13). Jesus became the Son of Man so we could be sons of God (Luke 19:10, John 1:10-13).

The Holy Spirit

The baptism of the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues (Luke 3:16, Acts 1:4-5, Acts 2:1-4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 11:15-16). The baptism of the Holy Spirit is for all believers (Mark 16:17-18, Luke 3:16, John 7:38-39, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:4, 16-21, Acts 10:43-47, Acts 19:1-6, 1 Corinthians 14:2-5, 14-15, 39).

We

We have been separated from God by sin. We are saved and born again by grace through faith in

Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9). We should have regular church attendance and involvement. It is necessary for developing a well-balanced Christian life (Psalm 92:13-14, Hebrews 10:24-25). We are obligated to share Jesus Christ with other by The Great Commission (Matthew 5:13-16, Matthew 28:18-20, Romans 1:16, I Peter 3:15). We should align our lifestyles with God’s Word (Romans 6:10-14, Ephesians 2:10, Titus 2:11-15, Galatians 5:1). We should make tithing a part of our everyday life (Romans 4:11-13, Galatians 3:13-14, 26-29, Genesis 14:18-20, Hebrews 7:4-8).

The Gospel

The Gospel is the power of God to salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). The Gospel message is: Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, He was buried and He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Water Baptism

Water Baptism is also an outward profession of a person’s inward commitment to Jesus Christ as Savior. Water baptism is important for the believer after salvation. When you are saved, your old nature is dead. Water baptism is the burial of the old nature. In water baptism, we are buried with Christ, and we rise in newness of life (Romans 6:1-7). Water baptism means total immersion (Matthew 3:16).

Communion

Communion (The Lord’s Supper) is received in remembrance of Jesus’ sacrifice for us (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).
